33-year-old Nollywood actress Ini Edo has reportedly been made the Special Adviser on Tourism to the Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.
The story was reported today but Ini Edo hasn't responded or released a statement concerning the appointment.
In 2014 it was reported that Ini Edo received a house worth N70m from an unnamed gubernatorial aspirant under PDP.
Ini Edo is not the first actress to get a political appointment. Hilda Dokubo was appointed Special Adviser (SA) to the former governor of Rivers state, Governor Peter Odili some years ago.
Nollywood actress Nkiru Sylvanus was made the Special Assistant on Lagos State Affairs to Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha in 2011.
