I want my son’s corpse in warri, ex-husband tells Stella Oduah

Ex-husband of Senator Stella Oduah, Lt Col. Satchie Emmanuel Etoromi (retd.) has pleaded to her to produce their dead son, late Maxwell Etoromi’s corpse for proper burial.

Etoromi, in a letter to the ruler of Akili Ozizor, Ogbaru in Anambra State, Igwe D.O Oduah, said he got to know about Maxwell’s death through the social media and till date his estranged wife, Stella Oduah had not informed him of his death.

He asked the ex-aviation minister to return another son they had together, Felix Kenneth Etoromi to him.

The letter reads: “I am surprised to see on the Internet stories that my son, Maxwell Omabuwa Temisaren Obiechina Wereyesigha Toritseju Chinedu Etoromi, delivered on March 14, 1988, at 05.00 hour at St Mary`s Hospital Ugboroke, Warri, is dead.

“Till now, Stella has not told me my son died in her custody. There is rumour that my son will be buried in Akili Ozizor. That is not acceptable at all. My son must be brought to me in Warri for internment.

“Stella should also bring back Eyituoyo Felix Kenneth Oritsetimeyin Ikechukwu Etoromi, who was delivered on August 1, 1989, at 05.30 hour at St Mary`s Hospital Ugboroke, Warri, who she took away from our home over 20 years ago.”

Maxwell died last Friday at the age of 28 from brain hemorrhage at an Abuja hospital. On Monday a mass vigil was held in his bereaved mother’s home country, Akili Ozizor, in Anambra State.
