A commercial sex worker was reported dead after she was mauled by her client when she could no longer withstand the rigours of a long drugged-induced sex in a Lagos hotel.
The incident took place at a popular hotel called, De Love located at Ilufumi street, Ejigbo, Lagos, PM News reports.
The unidentified client visited the room of the prostitute, Janet Etim, on Wednesday, to enjoy a short time sex with her for an agreed fee of N500.
However, trouble started midway into the proceedings as it was learnt that the client was taking too long to climax, causing her unbearable pain and also prompting her to withdraw from the romp, thereby refunding the N500 back to him.
The customer, who was apparently in an energetic mood, declined to collect the money. This led to exchange of words and in the process; he attacked and injured her on her head.
She was rushed to a hospital by the hotel management where she eventually died.
The customer who allegedly assaulted and killed her is said to be at large while the remains of the deceased have been deposited at Isolo General Hospital for autopsy report.
Consequently, the manager of the hotel, Prince Bassey was arrested by operatives from the Ejigbo Police Division.
Confirming the incident, when contacted, the Divisional Police Officer, DPO, SP Folorunsho Afolabi said the police was waiting for autopsy report to determine whether Etim died as a result of the assault or something else.
He added that efforts were on to arrest the runaway customer.
