Nigeria Super Falcons Beat Australia to top the group B table

 


The Nigeria Super Falcons today beat the Matildas of Australia 3-2 for the Fifa Women World Cup group B game . 

Australia is the 2023 co-host country with New Zealand.

This is the second game the Super Falcons of Nigeria is playing at the tournament and the match took place in Brisbane, Australia.

Before the second game, the Super Falcons had one point from their first goalless draw with Canada and needed to win the match to strengthen their chances of proceeding to the next round.

Oshoala, Ohale and Kanu scored for the Super Falcons.

The Super Falcons will be playing Ireland in their next and final match of the group stage. Ireland is in the bottom of the table after losing two matches to Australia and Canada respectively.
