It is now clear what caused the row between Ahmed Musa and his wife, Jamila which got them in the headlines across the world after police were called.
Musa was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday, April 5 after police responded to a domestic violence call at his five-bedroom mansion in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire.
The Leicester City forward was however released with any charges.
He thereafter denied beating his wife, insisting that they had a ‘normal couple row’.
It has been reported that the 24-year-old forward is set to marry a second wife, Juliet, having done an introductory ceremony with her family.
According to reports, Ahmed and Juliet have been dating for over two years and had their introduction on Saturday, March 25.
It was also reported that the £40,000 per week player got Juliet a place in the affluent area of Lekki and bought her a Mercedes Benz C300.
Musa had earlier taken to Instagram to share a photo of Juliet, calling her 'his queen' while wishing her happy birthday.
“On this special day, may you have all the joy, your heart can hold; All the smiles, a day can bring; And all the blessings, a life can unfold. May God bestow you with His bounties and blessings! Happy Birthday, To my Queen,” the 24-year-old wrote alongside a photo of the girl.
