The Ooni Ife’s queen, Olori Wuraola Ogunwusi, has offered solidarity to her husband after a video of the number one monarch in Yoruba land being disrespected by a far lesser king, the Oba of Lagos went viral on social media today.

Nigerians have been berating the Oba of Lagos for his needless arrogance and praised the young Ooni for exhibiting maturity beyond his years in handling the unpalatable situation since the footage emerged.
His wife, the queen has also hailed the Ooni for ignoring the mundane and keeping his focus on the bigger vision of peace and unity that he has been pursuing since he ascended the throne.
She wrote on her gram;
“My husband, my soulmate, my mentor, my king, the people’s King; A King like no other. The Custodian of culture, the keeper of Yorubas across the world, and the voice and symbol of peace. When you recognize what and who you are, your vision becomes bigger than the daily struggles of the mundane.
When you uphold that vision, you see beyond the physical and you envisage and work towards a future that is liberating for all.”
