A sick, twisted teenager has been described by a psychologist as beyond rehabilitation after he was found with text messages claiming he will rape 10 infants a day and kill 25 a night. He was also found with tens of thousands of pictures and videos of infants being sexually abused.
19-year-old Alan Gray began accessing online pornography when he was just 13. Afterwards, he started an online relationship with a fellow pervert and they would often exchange hideous text messages and discuss sexually violating days old babies. Alan fantasised about kidnapping, raping and murdering babies and accessed almost 20,000 horrific child abuse images of young children and infants.
Gray was arrested at home last June as part of an intelligence-led police cyber crime operation. During Gray's court hearing yesterday, it was heard that a psychologist claimed he was virtually beyond rehabilitation because his “deeply disturbing” perversions are so entrenched. A sheriff who felt sickened by the teenager's acts declared that Gray's case was the worst sexual offences case he has ever heard. Gray’s lawyer described his behaviour as “abhorrent, appalling brutal and repugnant” and accepted a prison sentence was inevitable. Greenock sheriff, Derek Hamilton, also told Gray that his case and the images in his possession were the worst he has ever heard.
Hamilton said: “The narration of the images in this case is the worst I have ever heard. The matter involves you also discussing the sexual abuse, rape and killing of babies. My concern is that the risk of you reoffending is high. There is a significant risk factor and for that reason I am going to remit you to the High Court for sentencing."
Gray, from Greenock in Scotland, had folders on his laptop with videos of sadistic sexual assaults on babies. On Kik Messanger app, where he exchanged messages with another pervert, Gray revealed that infants were simply there to be abused by them.
"I’d rape 10-a-day ha ha," one text message read.
In another, he wrote: "I’d kill 25 newborns a night. No mercy. They’re just there for us to abuse."
The court heard that Gray had 19,884 images, made up of 16,120 still pictures and 3,764 videos. These included 1,864 pictures and 2,254 moving images of category A abuse, which happens to be the worst level. Gray admitted his offences and was remanded in custody.
