Fans Blast Bimbo Akintola as she says she was too busy with work to attend Moji Olaiya’s burial

Bimbo Akintola shared a tribute to late Nollywood actress Mojo Olaiya, citing work as the reason for her inability to attend the burial ceremony of her colleague. Fans and trolls came for her after she posted this.

Here’s the tribute she wrote;

“Sun re. I could not attend your burial because of work but I will never forget you. Your gentleness, your smile, your beauty, your talent, your laughter. I will cherish the memories of you I have, even though we had not seen each other for a while you always were in my heart. Rest in peace Moji. #gonetoosoon.
Many felt the tribute was okay, while others think she should have suspended all her work that day to attend the burial ceremony.

The disparaging comments obviously upset Akintola because she slammed one of the trolls without mincing words, and she also blocked some overzealous fans from her page.

At the end, Bimbo warned trolls to keep off from her page; “Just keep it to yourselves, please. Find a different time and place to preach,” she warned them, adding, “We all mourn differently.”
