President Muhammadu Buhari is currently under fire for appointing three dead people in his largest apppointments since he assumed office in 2015.
Among the list of 209 Chairmen was late Senator Francis Okpozo who according to the list, will be the Chairman of the Nigerian Press Council.
The Second Republic Senator died in Benin City, the Edo State capital after a brief illness on December 26th 2016 at the age of 81years.
President Buhari released a statement on December 28th mourning the deceased Senator. The Senator was buried on February 17th this year.
Also on the list is late retired Deputy Inspector General of Police and elder statesman, Donald Ugbaja.
The late Ugbaja was appointed member of Consumer Protection Council. His name is the third on the list of the council whose chairman is Emeka Nwakpa.
Also, the President appointed Rev Christopher Utov as a Member of Nigerian Institute of Social and Economic Research.
Rev Utov, the proprietor of Fidei Polytechnic, Gboko, passed away on March 17, 2017.

I wonder how President Buhari (and his people) will address this “Appointing dead people” thing. Will they for the first time take responsibility for their mistake and apologize? Will they ignore it? Will they assume we’re all idiots and give a stupid excuse? We watch.

Twitter: Sebi we warned you, you should have voted GEJ
Ngozi: GEJ’s admin is responsible for Nigeria’s present situation.
Twitter: Thank you madam for saying the truth, now we know Buhari will fix Nigeria.

Either Buhari didn’t vet the suitability of his own appointees or he didn’t make the relevant appointments himself. Any way you slice the appointment of deceased persons, President Buhari is grossly incompetent.
And this is the least worrisome of this govt’s misadventures.

How can a man who ‘appointed dead people’ understand if he signed a padded budget or not?
Is there a reason for us to still trust that President Buhari is still worthy of the highest office in the land?
Does he really know those he appointed? pic.twitter.com/H7GVieuWlg

A lot of backlash on President Buhari for appointing 3 dead Nigerians as Board Chairmen Of Parastatals.
President Buhari is the President of both living and dead Nigerians. He can appoint whoever he wants.
Leave him alone 🌚🌚
