Barely 24 hours after the otedola bridge accident where more than 50 vehicles were burnt, another fuel tanker has exploded after it collided with a trailer on Suleja-Minna Road, in Niger State.
The petrol tanker belonging to Conoil collided with a trailer on Suleja-Minna Road on Friday. Five persons were reported to have sustained various degrees of injuries.
The spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Mr. Bisi Kazeem who confirmed the incident told our correspondent that the injured people had been taken to hospital.
He said that the accident happened at about 8am on Friday, adding that the FRSC learnt about it two minutes after and quickly deployed its officials to control the situation.
