NFL Player Offers Someone $1,500 To Switch Seat, You Wont Believe The Response He Got

Carolina Panthers star, Cam Newton got denied over the weekend after offering $1,500 to switch seat aboard a 10-hour flight from Paris.

The player had originally paid for a business class seat from Paris to Charlotte, but missed the flight.

The quarterback was then forced to fly home via a connecting flight in Dallas in regular economy with no extra legroom.

Newton, a 6.6-foot-tall man then offered the unidentified man $1,500 for the seat and was subsequently turned down.

Newton smiled and walked back to his assigned seat. Elisara Edwards who recorded the incident said "he asked the guy in front of us about his seat and if he can trade seat, and the other passenger asked him how tall he was?".

Newton said he was 6.6, and the guy goes " i'm 6.4 and i'm with my buddies here, so i won't be able to give up my seat." And he asked him if he would trade it for $1,000 and he said 'No'. And he's like '$1,500'? And he said 'No'.
