Nollywood actress and producer, Omoni Oboli and her squad, actresses, Uche Jombo, Chioma Akpotha and Ufuoma Mcdermott were well known for taking their friendship and sisterhood at heart.
They became an envy of other movie stars with their Squad goals; they travel together, storm events together, sign deals together, as well as constantly throwing jabs at each other on social media.
However, of recent, it was observed that all the fun moments with the squad, twining goals and all, were nowhere to be found.
Everyone of them remained silent and avoided each other like a plague, even on social media.
So, at the recent premiere of Belinda Effah's new movie, Miracle at the University of Lagos main auditorium, it was fully confirmed that indeed all is not well with the 'Fantastic Four', as they were popular dubbed.
The Eagles eye which was on the look out, noticed that as soon as Chioma Akpotha entered the venue of the premiere and spotted Ufuoma on the red carpet, graciously granting interviews to the beehive of media houses, she quickly dashed into the hall without exchanging pleasantries even with the celebrant.
Chioma neither waved nor said hi to Ufuoma or Belinda Effah, as they were both on the red carpet, side by side.
Meanwhile, shortly after Ufuoma and the celebrant were ushered into the hall, Chioma sneaked out, had her interview sessions with the broadcast media and zoomed off.
In the middle of the premiere, Ufuoma also stepped out to take some fresh air, right there and then, she was asked about the rumours of the Fantastic Four breakup, after giving evasive answers she ended up with an 'Ok' response.
"They are rumours that your friendship with Omoni Oboli, Uche Jombo and Chioma Akpotha had met with brick walls, how true are these claims," she was asked.
"OK, OK, OK' came her swift response.
Her response goes a long way in putting a stamp to the speculations that indeed the envied Nollywood friendship had packed up like a pack of cards.
The reasons behind this - is what we are yet to find out...
